1997 Plymouth Breeze 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I've got a 1997 Plymouth Breeze the main brake cynlinder broke. We changed the cylinder before but it broke again. Is it normal for it to go out? and how can we prevent it from happening again?

Are you refering to the master cylender or the wheel cylender? What is happening?
