About to replace my timing belt, have all the parts and special tools. According to the CHRY. FSM it states that a timing relearn needs to be done with a DRB sscan tool. Will a generic scan tool like an auto doc have the capability to do this? Would'nt the car start and run due to the fact that this is just mechanical parts replacement? Will I need to take this to the dealer or a Mech. with this specific scan tool?
