1999 Plymouth Acclaim 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

my check engine light comes on and i had it scanned and it is a vaperating code.so i changed the gas cap and in 2 days it comes back on. what could be the problem?

The code could something to do with any of the EVAP system. What I recommend is having the system fogged. When they do this, they fill the system with fog and where the leak is, the fog comes out.

It isn't really expensive to do, but it will save a lot of time and frustration. These leaks can be very hard to find. If you can't afford it, check things like the filler tube for rust through and where it connects to the tank.
