1994 Plymouth Acclaim

My engine light went on drove home next day the engine light never came on for weeks nothing happened then a week ago it came back on and then nothing for days? Have any idea what is wrong. My thermostat is no longer moving would my light come on if my car was getting hot?

Your going to have to get your code's in your computer so you can figure out why the light is going on.
