1994 Plymouth Acclaim Front signal bulb replacement

1994 Plymouth Acclaim 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

Please advise how to get at the right front signal bulb. The Harness runs up to the lamp but is obstructed by a plate that I can't seem to get around. Thanks in advance.

If you have too much trouble try unscrewing the whole lamp assembly from the front instead. It is difficult from behind to turn and pull the socket out.
