Transmission problem
1994 Plymouth Acclaim 6 cyl Automatic

The car jerks when warm at a reduced speed when the transmission is down shifting. The jerking feels like if slammed on the brakes! What is my problem and how can I fix it? Thank You.

sounds like the torque convertor/ torque convertor clutch solenoid is faulty and in need of replace ment.
