I have a 1993 plymouth acclaim i bought from my brother back in sept the car needed a motor mount so i replaced wit one from pull-a-part well about 2months ago it broke again and this guy told me in order for the motor mounts to quit breaking i have to replace the tranny but im no mechanic please help me out thanks WILL

that is the craziest crap I ever heard, you may have another mount problem too, now the one that keeps blowing has to do the work of two mounts(so to speak). inspect the others too, then get a good new mount to replace the them
