The most important thing to remember is that the dust is not to be breathed. It is important to do the job correctly of course, but being careful about the dust is more important than the brakes making noise because they have no spring clip to hold them tight. They hook on to the adapter so the two center ends push against the pads so they do not rattle. No book or manual gives an exact procedure for putting a spring clip on that is for noise only. None that I have seen. It is impossible to install incorrectly as long as it is holding tension on the pad from the adapter support slide. Ok
