How to replace the Input Turbine Speed Sensor?

Okay, so my car is super slow to accelerate when I take off is jerky going into gear and downshifts and gets stuck in third gear. So, I ran the code reader thingy and got the code and got the part and I'm still lost. I can change the tire and my oil, but I need some help with this one. Please someone, I'm just a girl, not a mechanic, but I got a fix my ride.

Sure, no problem, we can help. Unfortunately, this is not as easy as changing the oil. You will need to remove the transmission side cover. The sensor gets 4.2 hours to do so it will take some time, and you will need a way to hold the engine and transmission along with special tools. Also, you will be dealing with transmission fluid so you need to judge if you can do the job or not. Here is the location of the sensor and how to change it out.
