Engine runs for ten minutes then shuts off

Replaced the fuel pump it ran for ten minutes and just quit. Fuel pump comes on and kicks off as it is supposed to. Gas tank reads empty though it has a full tank.

After engine stops running, were you able to restart it?
If engine is stalls due to the fuel pump stopping, then you should check the fuel pump relay and wiring.

The fuel sending unit could be bad or there is a fault with the wiring circuit for the fuel gauge not working correctly.
