Piece hanging from underneath car?

I have a plastic black corrugated tube/pipe hanging down underneath the car, about 3 - 4 inches from the ground. It’s near the front of the car in the middle. I want to make sure the car is safe to drive and won't cause any major damage until I can get it looked at. Have pictures if I am able to send in chat.

The pics didn't upload. Could you try again? There are a lot of things it could be. I need to see the size of the part. Also, if you open the hood, can you see it from the top of the engine and is it a pipe or wiring harness?
