Will not stay running?

'72 pickup, C-10 w/350. I just rebuilt the carburetor. It starts and runs for about 8-10 seconds and then shuts off. Lots of gas in the tank. Is it still a carburetor issue?

Hi,

When you rebuilt the carburetor, how did you set the float level? Also, have you checked to make sure the pump is keeping up?

Is this a 2 or 4bbl?
