my van seems louder, engine makes more noise and the management light is on, a mechanic has had a diagnostic done on it and cant find a problem any ideas?

Hello,

One thing to keep in mind that as components ages and gets worn, they can make more noise. Which is part of normal wear and tear.
However, if you have unusual noises it needs to be diagnosed and repaired.

You mentioned that the management light is on. Is that the service engine light you are refereeing to?
If the check engine light is illuminated, a good first step would be to scan and retrieve the error codes. As that can help with the diagnostics.
