2005 Peugeot Expert Miss firing

My 1.9 diesel expert started to misfire, could this be due to exhust being blocked and could the blockage be caused by over filling engine with oil?

if you have excess oil in the engine drain it off ASAP .. the misfire is most probably caused by a bad injector or glow plug !
