2004 Peugeot 407 Particle filter additive level too low

When you start the engine this sign appears and after setting off. I've been told to put it in 3rd gear with a high push accelerator until it reaches the red line on the rev counter dial and drive up for a mile, andi have done so but the problem hasn't been resolved.
