2000 Peugeot 406 drivers side electric window

the window will not operate. I have replaced the fuses, complete motor and regulator. the regulator moves to the top or bottom then stops. I also want to know where is the "the built in systems interface" as the electrical circuit keeps pointing to this as being faulty. The actual model is 406glx hdi(90)

have the car plugged inot a diagnostic computer to check for BCM (body control module) faults
