Engine Performance problem
1998 Peugeot 405 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual

hi
my Engine's car is hesitates on acceleration.specially in low (heavy gear).some time its temperature go to 90C and go back to 70C. i change clutch kit,fix carburator and change air filter and sparks and timing belt .but it never go over 100 KM/h. it semms very dificult to move in gear No1 (from stop state).i dont know what must do?! please help.

start by having a compression test of cylinders and check fuel pressure !

Hi.your car may have serious problems with engine and gear box. maybe your engine pistons have damaged that couse you some hicups and some gears in your gearbox had corrosion.
