2002 Peugeot 307 Automatic 80000 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
My 2002 Peugeot 307 started playing up last night and i felt it start to shake and feel really rough while i was driving. Luckily i was right near home so i went home straight away and parked the car. This morning the engine light was flashing and the Warning Message said "Catalytic Converter Fault" and the car wouldn't start. It clicked over a few times but it wouldn't start.
I previously had some trouble with the car and the automatic transmission but it has been fine since i had that looked at. I have done some research and i'm having a hard time finding anything that can tell me what this message could mean and how it will need to be repaired. Any information will be so helpful.
Thank you.

the vehicle needs to be plugged into a diagnostic computer to locate the exact cause of the fault !!
