2001 Peugeot 307 Two Wheel Drive Manual 50000 miles

i went through a big puddle and my car smokes someone said it was the catalic converter so i hsd it done but it still smokes and smells abit like burning.

return the vehicle to the garage that replaced the cat .. and have them locate the burning smell !!
