there seems to be a rattling sound coming from the engine when the car is in idle. It does not appear to be present when the car is driving. The rev counter intermittantly goes up and down iratically when in idle on a cold start. It recently failed its MOT on an emissions problem also. Would this be related? The car does seem quite sluggish on accerelation but does improve when the car has warmed up.
