performance chips

was wondering if the claims made by sellers of the plug and play chips that increase gas mileage as well as increase power are legit.if not are there any mods you would recommend that would give me that outcome

the ones that increase power are, but unless you change a bunch of stuff your mileage will not increase. You can change air inlet but I doubt it will give you any increase in mileage as you can't put more in than you can get out.
