Sure, here are the brake light switch wiring diagrams to the BCM. Check out the images (below). Let us know if you need anything else.

Okay, so I wired the switch, and my brake lights are still on when I turn off my head lights, they shut off but then I have none. I don't know what else to do or why that even happens.

You might need to calibrate the brake light switch, here is how:

BRAKE PEDAL POSITION SENSOR CALIBRATION

CALIBRATION CRITERIA
The brake pedal position sensor (BPPS) receives a low reference signal and a 5-volt reference signal from the BCM. Whenever the brake pedal is applied, the BPPS applies a variable voltage signal to the BCM through the stop lamp switch signal circuit. The BPPS calibration must be performed after the BPPS or body control module (BCM) have been serviced. The calibration procedure will set BPPS home value. This value is used by the BCM to determine the action of the driver applying the brake system and to provide this information to the vehicle subsystems via the class 2 communication bus.

CALIBRATION PROCEDURE
- Install a scan tool.
- Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF.
- Select Diagnostics.
- Select the vehicle.
- Select Body and Accessories.
- Select Lighting Systems.
- Select Special Functions.
- Select BCM.
- Select the BPPS calibration procedure and follow the directions displayed on the screen.

Please go over this guide and get back to us.

Does it matter if my car is a 2005 Chevy Malibu classic? I just learned there was a regular Malibu and a classic version.

You can search Amazon for a scanner that can go into the BCM, if it doesn't work you can send it back.
