I understand that I do not have a PCV valve on my engine but a tube with an orifice in it on the back of the drivers side valve cover. The valve is not replaceable. Is it cleanable or do you have to replace the valve cover?

Good evening.

The PCV valve is in the hose from the intake to the cover. It does remove from the cover.

Picture attached.

One more thing, people tell me to spray permatex copper gasket sealant on the head gaskets and some tell me not to use anything. What is correct? Thanks!

That is not recommended. There is nothing required on the gaskets at all. By using that, you can damage the gasket as it may try and move and with this sealer, it will not be permitted to move and would rip and fail.
