PCM replacement

As a last resort purchased PCM already programmed for my VIN number. Have replaced that now anti theft light is constantly on and my machine says security shut down. What do I do next?

Good evening.

The key has to be programmed to the PCM. You cannot perform this operation. It is done either at a dealer or you can call a locksmith to come to you to program the key.

Ford allows only certified people program their security systems.
