passenger sliding door lock not working

On the first picture, the tab to unlock the door moves slightly but doesn't stay and the door stays locked. On the second picture, the unlock button on the remote doesn't work either. You can hear it working and the tab moves back but it doesn't stay, as in the third picture of the driver's side passenger sliding door, and the door remains locked. What you see in the third picture of the driver's side sliding door does not happen to the passenger side sliding door. I can see the red mark appear but then it hides back again like if something is blocking it from sliding all the way. At one time the open door icon on the cluster lights up red and a beeping sound starts meaning a door is ajar. When checking the passenger sliding door from the outside, the door has not locked entirely and will have to push it locked so the beeping sound terminates.
All the doors open by remote and manually but not the passenger sliding door.
