Driver's side sliding door works properly. Passengers side doesn't. Press console button and you get an engaging sound and it starts to move, but doesn't go anywhere with a beep. Press outside button and nothing. Press side button on post and it beeps, but not open or close. It opens manually.
Liftgate button doesn't work (not power close), but when you press and hold down the trunk button on key fob the taillight's blink twice and the button works. I hope this is a common issue. I did turn the fuse box off for 1 minute and back on and did the reset thing. Didn't work. Maybe a solenoid in the engine fuse box?

Yep, this can happen when the smart junction box has gone out which controls both the slider door and the liftgate operation. Can I ask if this problem happened at the same time? If so the SJB is probably the problem. You should do a CAN scan to confirm. You can get a CAN scanner (Controller Area Network) which will work on most cars from Amazon.

Here is a video to show you how:

If a code is stored for the SJB here is how to change it out to help fix the problem. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.

Yes, it did happen at the same time. I have a scan reader, but not codes. I will look at video. Looking up what an SJB is right now.

Yes, it has a logic module that controls both the sliding door and rear liftgate which looks like it has gone out. I think a CAN scan will show that failure.

Is there part number you may have? I might as well just change it out.

The IPS control module inside of the SJB is the only thing I can see that shares the door slider and the power liftgate operation. Here are the wiring diagrams so you can see what I am talking about and to see how the systems work. This is the advantage dealer techs have; they can order the apart and plug it in to see if it works and then return it if it doesn't. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.

Bummer, I guess this has gone over my head. Is the IPS control module something I can order and replace?

You will need to call the dealer parts department on that, but I don't think so, you will need to replace the entire SJB.
