How do I fix rear passenger side marker bumper light that is blown, and passenger side rear dimly lit tail light right above the blown marker light. Hello I have a 2011 Mitsubishi Outlander XLS with LED tail lights. And I believe the bumper marker lights are normal bulbs. Both driver side and passenger side blinker lights, hazard lights, brake lights, tag lights work fine. High beams for front headlights etc. Work fine Dash turn signal lights are blinking normal for left and right when activated. Rear Passenger tail light stays very dim when headlights are turned on. Passenger tail light does not light up bright when in reverse it stays very dim still. But when braking the passenger side tail light works like normal. Rear Passenger marker bumper light on same side right under the malfunction taillight is completely out. Also I noticed today, my remote entry alarm system when I press the deactivate button for the l alarm to enter my vehicle the malfunctioning passenger tail light flashes 3 times really fast. Also when I exit my vehicle and pressed my remote to activate and turn on the alarm the rear passenger side malfunctioning tail light stays really dim for a couple of minutes longer than any other light on or in the vehicle before it cuts off. That's strange. Could this simply be that my regular bulb rear passenger marker bumper light just needs to be replaced because buy it being blown it is affecting the passenger side rear tail light from activating properly by not getting bright when in reverse and not turning on bright when I turn on the headlights at night? Clean battery terminal ends and clean battery to body cable then go and clean that offending light ground. Check side light for a blown bulb as well. Both rear grounds are at lh rear corner of vehicle

Could the blown rear passenger side marker light be causing all of this? And where exactly would I find the ground wire that I need to clean the passenger right side tail light?

You will have to look around where I said it was in last reply it can be under car, inside behind a panel, etc. An a bulb can cause the problem as well
