Part Number for A/C blower control module is different?

Hello,

I have a problem in my car: the A/C blower control module got inconsistent. After diagnosis and checks, it needs to be changed, and the vendor's probability of having it is very low. I am looking to get it from abroad, however...

The part number is CN1Z-19E624-C while my car's is Cn11-19e624-aa. I ensured I looked at the same car model/make and engine. What could be the difference? Am I looking at a wrong search?

Hi,

I attached a picture below showing what my manual indicates for this vehicle. I checked both automatic and manual climate control which show the same part number. That doesn't make sense to me.

Does your vehicle have automatic or manual climate control? That may be the difference you are running into. As mentioned, I would expect the part numbers to be different, but they show the same.

Hello Joe,

Thank you. I have the titanium Ecosport and it has an automatic climate control. And the weird part is that I found the same OEM number that I have but as a used spare part. Could it be they changed the Part number due to aftermarket production?

Hi,

There is a very good possibility the original part number has been superseded. Sometimes based on the date of manufacturing, they will use the prior year's parts or the next model year's part, but I checked both 2018 and 2020 and they are the same.

If you contact a Ford dealership parts department, they should be able to tell you if the original part number you have has been superseded with a new number.

Try that and let me know what they tell you.
