Do not know how to adjust park brake? Also, do not know if my parking brake is stuck in position because it will not engage. Replacing rear shoes on my Tundra now. Want to know if the lever that is coming through the back plate should move freely or if it is supposed to stay in a position until it is applied? Or do I need to replace my part brake?

Hello,

The parking brake part of the job is kind of tricky, it sounds like you have something not connected or in the wrong place, here is a video of the job being done so you can double check your work.

Please let us know what happens, we are interested to see what it is.

Cheers, Ken
