The car has an alarm and tracking module installed. I only drive the car a short distance and once a week. Since I started doing that the battery (680Ah) drops below the 12V voltage needed to start the car after 7 days. What is the best option to follow? 1. Buy a jump starter to start the car when the voltage drops below 12V or 2. Buy a battery with a bigger capacity.

Good afternoon,

The battery is too small. You need one with a larger capacity. I would get one with 800. the standard is the 680 but that is for everyday use.

That will last about 3 weeks before going down.

I responded thanking you for your answer. I am searching now for a 80Ah battery which is more than the 68Ah I have at the moment. Hope this message will get through.
