I have a friend who has a 2007 Chevy Impala and she found out she needed to replace the throttle pedal position sensor/switch A/B voltage correlation. After she fixes it how do you reset the computer step by step??? What site would you look under also??? Please call me at 231-735-4763 it is much easier if you can do it this way. It's much easier also. Please and thank you again and for taking the time to read this

We do not make phone calls and you may regret posting that in an open forum. The spammers will have a field day with it.

This is a "drive by wire" electronic throttle system and the TPS is incorporated into the throttle body. The whole throttle body will have to be replaced. After it is replaced, you will need a scan tool to clear the codes in the computer.

Yes, you have to use a scan tool. Most auto parts stores will do it for free.

Oh OK thank you and that is how to reset the computer. I heard that you can like tap breaks and take one negative off the battery something like that would reset other cars. So on the impala you can't do anything like that???

Thank you again. God bless

No, don't go disconnecting any batteries. You don't want to erase the adaptive strategy and retained memory. You only want to clear the code memory and disconnecting the battery wouldn't do that anyway.
