P2004 diagnose how to fix?

Hello, the code coming up (P2004) is for the intake manifold runner being stuck Open. Ill post the service info for it along with a picture of it. But either the motor that moves the valve, the position sensor that tells the engine computer the valves position, or the valve itself is mechanically stuck open. With intake manifolds being made of plastic these days, they can warp causing the valve to stick. But let post the info so you know what youre looking at.
do you have a 2.0 liter Turbo or 2.4 liter non turbo engine?

Here is the service information for the P2004 code, its showing the VCMA flap (in the 2nd diagram) is stuck open according to the position sensor, so note that it can be an issue with the position sensor not reading correctly. For example if the Position sensor reads 5volts when fully open, and the position sensor loses it's Ground wire, the Signal wire will read 5volts all the time, depending on how the sensor reads, but thats an example.
In the 7th diagram it shows the wire colors for the valves motor and position sensor.
So the Green wire with an Orange stripe should read 5volts with the sensor uplugged and key On, engine Off. Do you have a multimeter to check for voltage?
