Car will crank but not start.

Was throwing codes P0341, P0366, P2101 and P1516. I replaced not the camshaft position sensor and the crankshaft position sensor. I also replaced the pigtail for the crankshaft sensor (accidentally ripped them out).

I now get all the codes except P0341.

I can hear the fuel pump start up and there is fuel pressure in the fuel rail.

The timing chain was replaced about 10,000 miles ago.

Would the TAC cause it not to fire? I am getting ready to check for spark next. Not sure what else to do. Do not like to keep throwing parts at it.

Short answer is yes. The throttle actuator can cause this. The TAC is a duty cycle component meaning it needs to open a certain amount to allow enough air in to get the engine started. These codes are telling you that it is not operating properly and if it is not starting as well then it is most likely not opening.

Here is a guide that will help with this as well:

I am attaching the info below on these codes but I would start with the P1516 and P2101 as they are related.

Please review the material attached below and let us know if you have questions on this and we can go from there. Thanks
