Local parts store scanned engine and said p1351 code is reason for check engine light. I can start it and it runs for about two seconds then stalls. I turn key off then turn it back to start and fires up and sometimes pops through intake and stalls again then repeat again then runs fine no misfires and smooth. Smog test is coming up, do you think it will pass with light on but running fine?

It will not pass with the light on. Code P1351 = ignition control module circuit high voltage. Usually this is a bad connection or faulty ignition module but it can also be a problem inside the PCM. You need to have a shop look at it with a good scan tool and meter to see where the problem actually is.
