This code continues on my OBD reader. Could the thermostat sticking open be the cause? I just replaced it 2 months ago. What sensor tells the computer what the engine temperature is or should be?

Forget about it. Every Chrysler product sets that code in cold weather, but it will not turn on the Check Engine light so no one is ever aware of it. The two-wire coolant temperature sensor tells the Engine Computer what the temperature is. This code will set when the coolant doesn't reach a specific temperature within six minutes of starting the engine. If you start it and let it idle or drive slowly for two or three minutes, you won't reach the temperature in six minutes.
