P1189 Code Manufacturer Specific Powertrain

Car drives wonderfully. Has a check the engine code of P1189 Manufacturer Specific Powertrain. I don't know what that means. Is it a sensor or should I be checking for vaccuum leaks and cracked hoses. I am hoping that it is not a major problem. thanks

P1189 = P1189 Fuel Control (Bank 2 Sensor 1)

That's a pretty generic code and could mean a lot of things. The operation of the sensor would have to be examined to determine what the computer picked up on.
