Last year I replaced the pcm a re-manufactured one because I had mil code p0882. I took the car to a mechanic and he said the pcm needs to be replaced. Today the mil came back I think its related to the weather its 90 degrees. With another code p0633 immobilizer key is not programmed.

A mechanic will have to program the anti theft if you needed to have done in the beginning. You are lucky the car ran at all without being programmed for anti theft. P0882 is the tcm may be short to ground or a broken wire and or a pcm problem check your transmission connector for broken wires etc. I am sending you a picture on that it is just an example. It also could be water intrusion on transmission.

I bought the pcm from Autozone and installed it by myself. They said they programmed the Vin# and the mileage. The car starts fine everytime. Do I need to return the pcm to them to program the key?

Yes I would call them first to see if they can do that, if not you will need to visit the dealer.

Let me know what happens

Best, Ken
