My car recently broke down and has not been drivable. I received the following codes:
P0746
P0722
I also did a transmission fluid change and found metal scrapings in the old oil. After the fluid change, the car still does not move. The RPM's do not move when pressing the gas pedal either. I bought a new pressure solenoid and was going to replace the old one but am not sure exactly where the solenoid is located and the steps to get there.

Yep, the pressure control solenoid is to blame for the P0746 code, but you may have bigger problems.

P0746: Pressure Control Solenoid "A" Performance or Stuck Off

P0722: Output Speed Sensor Circuit No Signal

If there is metal in the pan chances are the transmission will need to be rebuilt. This car has the CVT transmission which are known to fail FYI. I did notice the transmission is controlled by the TIPM which these cars had problems with as well. Can you see if the fuse # 4, 10 amp has power here is a guide to help. The fuse panel under the hood which is the TIPM

I also included the transmission wiring diagrams so you see how the system works. Check out the images (below). Let us know what you find.

Okay, when the car is in gear can you hear a strange noise from the transmission like a metal belt slipping? If so, it sounds like the transmission needs to be rebuilt. Here is the location of the output speed sensor so you can see if the wiring is connected for the sensor. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.

The wire looked intact and fine; There is no noise when Jeep is in gear. The RPMs also do not reach 2. Have not yet replaced the solenoid.

You can try replacing the valve body with a rebuilt unit which will include the "Pressure Control Solenoid" but the fact that the output speed sensor code is present you might want to try swapping it out first and clear the codes.
