Can you tell me if this has a solution? I read some people talk about tuning it in order to get rid of delayed shifting.

Hi,

There is no signal from the output speed sensor (OSS) on the transmission. Because of that, the transmission is likely confused when it should be shifting.

What symptoms are you having?

Also, take a look below for the diagnostics for this issue. And tuning it won't fix this issue.

The only pic I could find related to the OSS I attached. (See Pic 3). It should be mounted on the tail housing/output shaft housing.

Check the wiring, connector, and so on for damage, corrosion, or looseness in the connector.

Let me know what you find.

Take care,

Joe
