I have a permanent P0706 code and did my research and deducted that it was the neutral safety switch/range sensor. I went ahead and replaced it however the permanent code is still appearing. the car shifts fine and the it recognizes all correct gears (PRNDL). The wiring also seem fine, no corrosion or fraying when I was replacing the sensor. How could get to the root problem relatively quick and cheap? (It's my only car/daily)
