Hello all

I have the vehicle listed above 6 speed. No outstanding recalls. The throttle body, MAF and ECM were replaced to correct the issue, and it did for about 20,000 miles. Code is thrown about 42 seconds after start up. It's intermittent, RPMs is never wildly excessive. Aside from that pesky light keeping me from passing emissions. The freeze data code data from this time and last time is pretty much the same. It was dealer repaired and paid for last time, won't be out of pocket for me this time either. But I worry it won't ever be gone for good. Any thoughts on what defect could cause a ghost problem to haunt me like this?

Back 20k miles / 18 months after $$$$ repairs.

This code can be causes by a vacuum leak, bad gasket at the throttle body or a purge valve that is stuck open.

The P0507 code indicates "Idle Control System RPM Higher Than Expected."

Please go over this guide which explains the cases of a high idle condition, also I have included the location of the purge valve which you should not be able to blow through.

Look at the hoses to the valve as well, these hoses need to be in good shape and connected securely. Check out the images (below). Please upload pictures or videos in your response of any problems so we can see what to help you with.
