Car sat for two years before i bought it and brought it back to road worthy. Had many issues and codes that i worked on and solved. Passed inspection about a month ago and then a couple weeks later would get a tighten gas cap message then the check engine light a few miles after. Already had replaced the purge valve.. Already tried another gas cap (swapped it with my other Buick). So now i want to know where to find the Vapor Canister vent valve solenoid and how to get to it, and where to find the fuel tank pressure sensor (and how to get to it). I found a video on changing the fuel pump (Impala), and expected to see it on the top of the fuel pump unit, but didn't. So i still have no clue where it is, but i tried.

Hello.

P0455 - Evaporative Emission (EVAP) System Large Leak Detected

The vapor canister vent valve is located on the canister. It plugs into the canister closer to the tubing (see diagram below).

The fuel tank pressure sensor is located on top of the fuel sending unit on the tank (see diagram below).

Please let me know of any questions.

Thank you.

Can i get to the VC vent valve without removing the gas tank? The video i watched of removing the gas tank (2013 Impala vs my 2014 La Crosse) looked as if they came out together and i did not see a FTPS on the sending unit in that video, though i realize different car/different year.

You will have to drop the gas tank to be able to get to it. There is appear to be no access hole in the trunk for the fuel tank access. All the instructions points to dropping the tank.
