P0455 code large leak detected?

I have a p0455 code large leak detected. I also get message on the dash to tighten my gas cap which I have gotten since buying the car 2 years ago. I have already changed my maf sensor. Where is the evap emissions purge valve located. I am recently widowed and disabled. If its easily accessible i may be able to change it out myself. I have inspected what hoses i could see. I cant access the airfilter does that black cover need to come off ? Until i can get it repaired can i still drive the car . I need to work.

I’m very sorry for your loss. The good news is that a P0455 EVAP leak generally does not mean the engine is in danger, and you can normally continue driving while arranging the repair, provided you do not smell raw gasoline or see fuel leaking. The engine-mounted EVAP purge valve is located on top/front of the intake manifold.

The large black plastic engine appearance cover may need to be removed for access. On most versions, remove the oil-fill cap, lift the cover from its rubber retainers, and reinstall the cap temporarily so nothing can fall into the engine. You should not need to remove the air-filter housing. The purge valve normally has one electrical connector, one vapor-line connector, and a retaining bolt.

Here is the valve location and a video to help as well, make sure to clear the codes once the repair is completed.

Yes, it can I would fix the P0455 code first then clear the odes to see if the p0300 comes back, if so please start a new thread for that problem.
