Need computer pinout for evap vent solenoid. Cannot turn off Check Engine Light. Replaced computer. Check Purge solenoid, vent solenoid Voltage at vent solenoid: 12v, Switched ground at vent solenoid: 0v. Repair shop gave up.
If I can get computer in connected to vent switched ground, I will be able to check its continuity.

Hi,

I attached the entire powertrain management wiring schematic below. Pics 1 and 2 show the vent valve and purge valve. I highlighted the one and the other is right next to it.

Please note that I had to cut each page in half to make it readable for you. I did overlap them so you can follow from one to the next.

The schematic helped a lot. The problem was with the wire running between the engine computer and the evap vent solenoid. It was picking up voltage from somewhere. I replaced it and the problem was solved. No Check Engine light.
