Need the location of sensor A Bank 2. I understand it's on the driver side but need to know what one. If facing the car, is it the one on the right or left?

The P0345 code on a 2015 Ford Mustang indicates an issue with the Camshaft Position Sensor "A" Circuit Bank 2.

This can be caused by a mechanical failure of the timing chain FYI, here is the location of the camshaft sensor so you can swap it out, make sure to clear the codes once you are done with the job.

Bank 2 is on the driver's side of the engine. I have marked the camshaft sensor "A" for you. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.

Okay, I have already replaced both sensors on the driver's side. I've checked all the wiring seems fine. I'm still getting p0345 p0308 p0345 p0316. When I first start and drive the car it runs fine a slight miss when accelerating for a sec then it goes as normal. Then when I shut the car off and start it back up the check engine light will start blinking, noisy lifter and no power. If I leave it sit for a while it will run normal with the check engine light solid or I can clear the code and will run normal.

Btw this all started after I changed the valve covers to the aluminum ones due to leaky gasket.

Like I say, these engines had a problem with the timing chains wearing out which will cause the P0345 code, and the engine will make noise at startup, (the noise is probably the chain).

P0345 - Camshaft Position Sensor "A" Circuit (Bank 2)

P0308 - Cylinder 8 Misfire Detected

P0316 - Misfire Detected on Startup (First 1000 Revolutions)

You can recheck cylinder #8 spark plug and ignition coil which can go out as well. With these engines you must change the oil on time, or the timing chains wear out. I have seen the roller followers fall apart as well; can you upload a short video of the noise so I can hear it? You can upload it here with your response.

All the plugs are new, the noise it's making is only there after I drive the car for a while then shut it off start it back up then check engine light will start blinking and runs really bad no power and a ticking noise in the top right side of motor. The ticking noise is not there when I start the car when it's cold, I can drive it for hours runs fine until I restart it.

Yep, that sounds like the timing chains need replacement which is vary common, if you upload a short video of the noise I can tell for sure.

Sorry, the car was in the shop they eventually called and said they think it's something to do with timing and did not have the tools to fix it. This is after they charged me 1k to change the cam sensors and plugs.

Thanks for the video. Yep, the engine sounds like the timing chains need to be replaced and it does take special tools to do the job. I would call around to different shops to see who is familiar with doing this kind of job.
