Code P0340, camshaft position sensor replaced but still not fixed

My check engine light came on and I got a code for the camshaft position sensor. So I replaced both, but the light is still on and the car is sputtering and stalling.

I also attached a wiring diagram. You need to verify the 5-volt reference signal to the sensor for operation.
