I have setting cam sensor code, checked wired and have ground and 5 and 12 volts, wires was cut when I got car and believe I got them in right ,but confirmation would be great, install new aftermarket cam sensors from different venders and same result, car will start and run for 3 seconds, seen in older post on here someone had same issue and they had to get sensor from dealer, could you confirm wire layout for cam sensor plug ? Any help would be much appreciated. thanks, Tim

Hi,

I attached a picture below showing the connector. It has three pins. Below the connector view is the legend for what each pin does.

Turn the connector on the position indicated in the picture and confirm there is 12v to pin 3, and continuity to ground via pin 1.

Let me know what you find.

Joe
