I changed the water pump and I always had a hard time getting my truck to start?

My truck was running fine then water pump when out so I changed the water pump and I always had a hard time getting my truck to start so I changed the fuel pump as well now everything out back together now truck it running like crap misfiring bad like gunshot I changed crank, cam, distributors, injectors, knocker switch, fuel filter another fuel pump, new spark plugs & wires now I have a new motor to set in my truck will that fix my problem or I’m just wasting my time

Hi,

If it is backfiring, you could have either a lean or rich fuel mixture. Is it possible for you to record it cranking and then running so I can hear what it is doing?

I realize the parts have been replaced. Have you checked the fuel pressure to make sure it is within the manufacturer's specs?

Also, is the check engine light staying on while the engine is running? If it is, do you have an OBD2 scan tool?

Let me know. If you haven't already, check the fuel pressure.
