My mechanic recently replaced the mass airflow intake sensor. Later, the check engine soon light came back on. This time the code read P0113 - intake air temperature sensor. Where is the intake air temperature sensor on my vehice?

Hi,

The intake air temperature sensor is integral in the mass air flow sensor. If it has failed, the new mass air flow sensor needs replaced.

The code indicates there is excessive voltage coming from the sensor. There could be a short to power or the new sensor may just be bad.

I attached a pic below for you to see. If you are comfortable performing diagnostics with the electrical system, let me know.

At this point, if you are not comfortable with the diagnostics, I would return it to the place that replaced the MAF.

Let me know if this helps or if you have other questions.

Take care,
Joe
