Welcome to 2CarPros.

Chances are the sensor is bad. However, there could be electrical issues as well. I have seen conditions where the wiring had worn through to the sensor causing a short to ground.

If you want to test the unit, here are the possible causes:

SYMPTOM
P0137-1/2 O2 SENSOR SHORTED TO GROUND

TEST NOTE
This symptom is diagnosed using the test P0131-1/1 O2 SENSOR SHORTED TO GROUND.

WHEN MONITORED
At a cold start, engine coolant below 36° C (98° F), ambient/battery sensor reading within 6.6° C (20° F), and engine coolant temperature above 71° C (160° F) on the previous key off.

SET CONDITION
The oxygen sensor signal voltage is below 0.059 volts for 3 seconds after starting engine.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- O2 sensor below 0.08 volts
- O2 sensor operation
- O2 sensor signal circuit shorted to ground
- O2 sensor signal circuit shorted to sensor ground circuit
- O2 sensor signal shorted to heater ground circuit
- PCM

Next, if you look at pictures 1 and 2, they provide diagnostic test directions. They are somewhat involved, but do the job.

Now, if you would rather test the sensor, I will provide a link that explains how it is done. Additionally, a link that explains the sensor's function and how to replace one.

Let me know if this helps or if you have other questions.

Take care,
Joe

Hello,

I have included the information that you requested in the diagrams down below. In the diagrams. Basically this Direct Trouble Code (DTC) states that your vehicle's Power-train Control Module (PCM) or "computer" is not receiving a signal from the downstream O2 sensor.
Please go through the diagnostic troubleshooting flowchart from the vehicle manufacturer and get back to us with what you are able to find out, please.

Thanks,
Alex

I conect my code reader and I get this :
O2B1S1(v)=0.810 - 0.330
O2B1S2(v)=0.000
O2B2S1(v)=0.840 -0.240
O2B2S2(v)=0.880 - 0.860

This voltage is correct? I hope you can help me with this.

Hello,

You are going to have to jack up your vehicle and get underneath of it to look at the downstream O2 sensors wiring harness connector and wires. Down below I have included a link for you to go to on how to properly jack up and secure your vehicle:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/jack-up-and-lift-your-car-safely

Please go through this guide so you will know how to make sure your vehicle is safe and secure to get under. Okay the O2 sensor you are looking for is the downstream bank 1 O2 sensor. Downstream means that it the O2 sensor closest to the muffler. Bank 1 is the bank on the right hand side from the front of the vehicle, or the bank with the number one cylinder in it. I have included diagrams in the diagrams down below for you.
Inspect the wiring harness connector and the O2 sensor connector. Make sure the connectors are clean and making a tight connection. Inspect the O2 sensor's wiring. Make sure the wires aren't chaffed, bare, are melted. Do the same with the wiring harness wires. If nothing seems amiss with the wires then the O2 sensor itself is probably bad.
Please go through the information and the guide and get back to us with what you able to find out.

Thanks,
Alex
